Who we are. Universal Venture Capital (UVC) is the venture-capital brand of Universal Asset Management Limited, a fund manager authorised and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), reference F008012, in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai. Our investor brand is Universal Asset Management, at u-am.ae.
What we do. We manage AI Frontier Fund I, a closed-ended DIFC venture capital fund classified as an Exempt Fund. We invest pre-seed to Series A in applied-artificial-intelligence companies across MENA, South Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia, with up to thirty percent in OECD markets where a strategic nexus is real.
How we invest. We are curated, not 80/20. We take very few companies, chosen through a five-pass assessment, and then we put the firm behind them: technology and engineering support, cloud and partner credits (AWS Activate, Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startups, NVIDIA Inception, Notion, HubSpot), active mentoring, market access, and an Academy cohort that compresses seed to a fundable Series A. As those companies scale, our investors are positioned to profit in the rounds that follow.
The Deal Room. A curated room that puts vetted founders in front of Professional-Client investors. Every company carries a visible assessment band, so nothing unvetted is dressed as endorsed.
